TITLE:

Tech Tools for Assessment Made  Easy

DESCRIPTION:

Use Google Forms & other tech tools for simplifying assessment. This course is designed to give participants a working knowledge of Google Forms & the latest features. Other top educational tech tools tailored toward assessment will be demonstrated.  The class will better allow participants to incorporate tech tools for assessment into the varying content areas. Other tech tools presented will assist with & can make possible differentiating, digital quizzing (trivia/review format), assessing, & ultimately driving further instruction.  The discussed tools can also assist with tasks such as scheduling parent-teacher conferences, creating digital flashcards, & cutting back on wasteful paper use.

CREDIT:

15 OPI renewal units OR 1 graduate credit through Montana State University-Northern. MSU-N will charge $150.00 for this credit which is paid at the workshop.

EXPENSES:

Participants will be responsible for travel, lodging, and meals.

REGISTRATION POLICY:

$40.00 per participant if GTCC member / $100.00 per participant if not a GTCC member.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:

Please bring a Laptop/Chromebook (preferably), and a hard copy of a unit test, quizzes, review, or saved pdf on thumb drive (to convert to digital assignment). Make sure you have a valid gmail account and know your password to login.
