TITLE:

Adventures in Watercolor

DESCRIPTION:

Whether you are new to watercolor or have experience using this fun and challenging medium, this workshop is for you. During this workshop, we will practice the basics of watercolor painting through a series of guided exercises and fun projects. We will explore basic watercolor materials and their use, and practice fundamental watercolor techniques, brush strokes, and color mixing. You will learn how to combine these techniques to produce beautiful works of art that can be used within your classroom or in your own personal practice!

Requirements outlined in this syllabus are only for those taking the class for college credit.

OPI Renewal Units OR Continuing Education Credits (through MSU-Northern) will be available. 1 summer semester credit for a 2-day workshop. Price is $150.00 and must be paid in advance through Brianna.

EXPENSES:

Participants will be responsible for travel, lodging, and meals.

REGISTRATION POLICY:

$40.00 per participant if GTCC member / $100.00 per participant if not a GTCC member.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:

Participants need to have: water container, masking tape or painters tape, salt, hair dryer, clipboard or large solid surface, and paper towels.  Materials packet will also be mailed prior to class.
