Join us for a fun & rewarding way to earn Renewal Units or College Credit!

We will be watching the Ken Burns PBS documentary, “Hiding in Plain Sight: Youth Mental Illness”.

We will be watching the 4 hour documentary in parts, during each virtual meeting. You are NOT required to watch it outside of the weekly meetings. If you choose to watch it on your own, in advance, you can stream via Amazon.  

Chapter Chat will meet every Thursday on Zoom, following the schedule below, from 4:30-5:30 PM.

Option #1 - 15 OPI Renewal Units (free)
Requirements will include:
>Attending 6 out of 7 chapter chats
>Watching the documentary (during each meeting)
>Actively participating in breakout group discussion with your camera on
>Complete a weekly reflection
>Complete a short evaluation

Option #2 - Earn 1 Semester College Credit through MSU Northern ($150)
Requirements will include:
>Attending a mandatory virtual meeting on Thursday, September 14th @ 4:30 PM
>Attending 6 out of 7 chapter chats
>Watching the documentary (during each meeting)
>Actively leading breakout groups in discussion with your camera on
>Complete a weekly discussion guide & reflection
>Complete a short evaluation

Note: Makeups will be determined on a case-by-case basis; extenuating circumstances only. No partial credit awarded.
