TITLE:
Gliding into Google Certification I: Show What You Know to Earn Level 1 Certification
DESCRIPTION:
After a year of dipping your toes into the ed-tech pool through distance learning, let's practice and refine those hot skills you've picked up along the way. In this course, you'll cover and review the skills needed to pass the Google Educator Level I Certification. The course will teach the tasks tested and allow for individual application. Skills taught/reinforced will ultimately supplement your classroom instruction and will include an emphasis on the understanding and application of various Google Workspace components such as Chrome, Classroom, Slides, Sheets, Docs, Forms, Search, Youtube, Drive, Calendar, and Gmail. Let's build on what you know, get you certifiably G-Suite techy, and beef up your resume in the meantime. You'll be given information during the workshop about the exam registration process, if you choose the certification route.

Requirements outlined in this syllabus are only for those taking the class for college credit.
OPI Renewal Units OR Continuing Education Credits (through MSU-Northern) will be available. 1 summer semester credit for a 2-day workshop. Price is $150.00 and must be paid in advance through Brianna.
EXPENSES:
Participants will be responsible for travel, lodging, and meals.
REGISTRATION POLICY:
$40.00 per participant if GTCC member / $100.00 per participant if not a GTCC member.
