GTCC Summer Institute 2019
K-8 STEAM/STREAM – Math Across the Curriculum
Using found and purchased materials, teachers will use math, as well as reading to become engineers. A strong emphasis will be placed on grade level math vocabulary as well as modifying lessons to fit grade level standards, objectives and expectations. This will be a make and take type class with activities/projects. Participants will create a lesson plan with grade level partners to take back to their classroom.
