TITLE:
Surviving Small Schools
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
New to small schools? Struggling to figure out the hidden rules? Whether you have years of experience in a small town or you are brand new to the area, this course is for you! This course will be a combination of practical tips and tricks for adapting to a small school/rural community, along with conflict resolution skills with some self-care sprinkled throughout. We will be talking about the struggles and hidden challenges of small town life and some tactics to help find allies and joy within a rural setting; all while immersing ourselves in a small community. There will be food and fun along with real world strategies for success in a small school/town.

OPI Renewal Units -OR- 1 semester credit Continuing Education Credits (MSU-Northern) will be available ($150 - paid at the workshop).

Participants will be responsible for travel, lodging, and meals.
